What Else Do We Need Here? This is a featured page

This is the place for each of us to come and put in suggestions for what we feel is missing in this Wiki which will help us. Consider it the SUGGESTION BOX. To submit a suggestion just start a new Thread below. :)

FORUMS
(Suggested by FleetOne)
While we know we'll be getting forums in the new place, there is still a need for a place, here, where we can carry on further conversations about specific information. The question becomes, if we make that 'new page' and call it, say, discussions, it could become disorganized. So, for all those reading this, what say you all about how to organize a discussion section specific to each of the other topics? I think, that each area should have its own discussion page.

TECH SUPPORT
(Suggested by Xarla)
A single place with a list of fixes for different problems and computer configurations would be helpful indeed. It has been suggested the CT techs be brought in on this. At the same time there already is a tech FAQ in CT which would cover at least part of these issues. Perhaps it is that list that should be updated... For now, it is an idea to keep with us and to figure out the best way to go.

Holodoc What works on VISTA? 0 Aug 19 2009, 3:52 PM EDT by Holodoc

Spaz3D RIP :( When I upgraded last year to 32bit VISTA, even compatibility mode couldn't get me full function from Spaz3D. I despised Flux. At present VRML is just too unwieldy for my system. Maybe there a WYSIWYG client which works similar to Spaz3D (which took some time to master) and works with the VISTAS.

Xarla Making CT "work" 3 Feb 7 2008, 7:53 PM EST by Glittergp

This is a suggestion that we get together and create a list of setting for each operating systems to help people be able to function in Cybertown. I believe this is a huge reason that many newbies do not stay. They cannot buy things, open books, etc. I don't think i am alone, when I say that creating is not as much fun if you cannot view your item in 3d, drop it in your 3d home, etc. It seems at every Creator's Group Meeting we find people (including myself) asking about one problem or another that seem to mostly derive from computer settings. Why not make a list of internet tool settings for each system, going through each tab of settings, including the 4 CT addresses that need to be in Trusted, Sites. I have a friend in ct now who has a brand new computer but cannot enter the Home Decorating Contest because she now has Vista and can't even get into 3d!
That's my suggestion! I also volunteer to help put it together.
Thanks,
Xarla

Wondering if there is a way for someone to post a question on a particular topic in here. Maybe Forum style? Not sure what would be best.
