TutorialsThis is a featured page

How do you add a tutorial here? Glad you asked!

If you have one already uploaded somewhere, click easy edit on the appropriate page (e.g. on the Flux Studio tutorials page if it's about Flux Studio) and add the link in the box under Off-site tutorials. Here you can also add links to other peoples' and companies' tutorials that you've found helpful.

If you haven't published the tutorial yet, use the +Add Page on the left, to create a new page. Title it for your tutorial, save under the appropriate page (don't worry if it ends up in the wrong place, you can easily move it later). Notice the Image icon in the Easy edit box if you want to add screenshots. Link to it (with EasyEdit) under General or Specific tutorials by wiki members.

ppetersen Tip for editing thumbs 0 Oct 6 2007, 12:18 PM EDT by ppetersen

Easiest way that I use Paint Shop Pro, bring the thumb image up, i keep a 'generic' one of 450 by 450 .... then resize the pic, copy, paste on thumb, put my text on. Next I export as a jpg, save usually between 20 and 25kbs. reopen it, use the 'sharpen' brush, and it makes the image smaller. :) I do the same on pics if they are over 95kbs, as it reduces the image to below the 40 allowed.
