Ever want to add a Ghost or humanoid shape to your item in Flux but could never figure out an easy way to do so?
All you have to do is: 1) Purchase an avatar building program 2) Make said avatar in the shape that you wish it to be. Save it. 3) Import said Av into Flux 4) Strip off all the animations and proto references (very easy, just save the only IFS in the tree) 5) Plop that IFS shape into your item. Caveats: Obviously the animations will no longer work. The texture might work, although the size could likely be a limiting factor. Want the Av to be ghostly-like? Just apply any color then set the properties of that color to some level of invisibility. |
